Fire Damaged Kitchen in San Antonio, TX

This fire damaged kitchen in San Antonio, TX was the result of a cigarette being left unattended.  The homeowner had left his home and came back to it engulfed in flames.  He was obviously upset and contacted SERVPRO of Alamo Heights once he was allowed back into his home.  We arrived on scene immediately and helped to walk him through the long process that is involved with a fire damage.  In the before picture, one can see the soot covered insulation that had fallen from his burnt ceiling and how charred the entire area of the kitchen floor looks.  In order to get the home ready for the reconstruction phase of the process, SERVPRO of Alamo heights had to remove the flooring and take the floor down to the concrete.
